Who should I register a domain with?

I've been looking for a company to register a domain name with. I've looked at Network Solutions, MyDomain.com, and Register.com.

For just the domain registration (not interested in web hosting or email through the company I intend to register through), what is the difference? I see quit a bit of difference in pricing: Register.com is $35 per year, NetWork Solutions is $34.99/yr or 29.99/2 yrs or 24.99/3 yrs, and MyDomain is $8.95. Would there be any reason NOT to go with MyDomain.com?

 
Namecheap.com is what I and many others here use. $8.88/year and your options in the control panel are pretty much as good as they get and its better than godaddy.com

explain how it's better than godaddy? (no, really, i'm about to go with godaddy but if you can tell me why namecheap is better.. 🙂)
 
Namecheap gives your more options than godaddy and I like it better IMHO. I used to be a godaddy customer btw.
 
I use Namecheap. I thought about Godaddy, but the name sounds dirty. Never had a problem with Namecheap.
