Who should be the next James Bond?

I was just reading on Yahoo that rumors have suggested either Hugh Jackman, Ewan McGregor, Jude Law, Heath Ledger, Clive Owen and Orlando Bloom. Yikes, i hope they're not seriously being considered, i wouldn't want any of those people playing bond. All those names are likely just speculation though.

I got to thinking who would be good to play the part, and couldn't come up with anyone. Maybe an unknown actor would be best, wasn't Pierce Brosnan kind of unknown when he did Goldenye?

I take it you are younger. Pierce Brosnan was relatively well known before he was Bond. He was in a TV show Remington Steele for a long time. He was offered the Bond position while on the show but couldn't get out of his contract and had to wait until the show was over.

I think he's the best mentioned so far, but def not a great one.

I can't see him saying, "Bond, James Bond." Not smoothly enough at least.

I like the current one..i wish he would do some more.

On the new one..I believe they are going to have to pick a unknown or a reasonably unknown one. Kind of like Batman. The actor in that was in American Physco and Equilibruim but other then that he was kinda a no name. No names have nothing attached to them and can do an amazing job.

yeah christian bale was gonna be my suggestion for 007 but no english accent makes him not as preferable
