Real pay aside if they for some reason had to redo contracts who should be getting paid the most?

Everyone is going to mention Tom or Peyton but what about the guys that will hold an otherwise struggling team together.

Adrian Peterson - Who else is even on that team to get paid?
Devin hester - Is he the only one who can score?
Kurt Warner - What other QB do they even have now?
Marshawn Lynch - Same as Adrian.
Steve Smith - 43 year old QB at the helm you need this guy to clone himself somehow.
Matt Schaub - Texans are winning games? Are you serious?
Ronnie Brown - Maybe he can play QB and RB? Direct snap ftw.
Keith Bullock - Holding the Titans D down regardless of what the offense jacks up.

What do you guys think? All I know is whatever money the vikings have they need to give it all to Adrian and maybe borrow some more.

I'd say Warner, but I'd also like to add that "highest paid football player" should be synonymous with "makes about 100k a year and not a penny more."

Devin Hester will make his mark but if yesterdays game means anything Adrian Peterson can't be paid enough.......and I'm a Bears fan.

Why? These guys generate billions of dollars in revenue, they deserve every penny they can get. If people are willing to spend so much watching the NFL the players should be rewarded with their huge contracts.

Running backs are a dime a dozen. It's guys like Brady and Manning who are the toughest to replace.
