I have downloaded the manual and I have read the various evaluations of this MB. I want to get this but no one seems to have it. Any idea if it is actually released to the US market? I guess I can wait.

ETA at Newegg is December 29th.

Well, Asus supposedly has the P4S800D-E Deluxe that is based on this same SIS 655TX chipset that is better than their P4P800, but like the Giga-byte board, it seems to be available overseas but is MIA in the USA. I was ready to buy the P4P800 until I read about the new chipset boards and their support for Prescott.

I really like the Giga-byte iteration of this chipset. The manual is available at giga.byte.com.

I am still waiting for the Gigabyte model. Supposedly due out in mid-February according to Gigabyte tech support. I know that they used to supply boards using non-Intel chipsets to Compaq, so hopefully it will be a stable and long-lived replacement for my Abit BX6 rev 2. And with the Intel price drop in early February, this board will make their P4 2.8c a good upgrade for me.
