This is kinda hard to explain, but I recently read an article about a fan for a cpu heatsink that was ducted. In other words, the blade assembly was on one side of an extra thick fan-housing assembly with the air-flow diverting vanes in the middle and the exhaust side was open creating sort of a duct. The air-flow vanes were designed to re-direct the air-flow towards the middle of the output. My current fan (60mm) does not have this feature and if you look at the surface of the heatsink you can see from the dust buildup that the center of the heatsink is not receiving much airflow. If anyone understands where I'm coming from and knows the manufacturer and/or the distributor for such a fan, please let me/us know. Thanks in advance!!
