Home Depot only has 3 feet sections, Anybody happen to know if Lowe's or any other hardware store has 4 foot long threaded rod? I need it in 5/8" or 3/4".

You'll have to start looking for industrial suppliers.

You could also ask for a recommendation from local industrial tool suppliers.

You might have to buy a 8+ foot section.

Locally for me, the first place I'd look is "Acme Nut and Bolt."

    LOL!

I THOUGHT I saw longer lengths at Lowes, but I didn't pay much attention at the time.

    Call and ask.

Update: I've been tagging along with my dad who's an electrician. Stole a nice 8 foot long piece of threaded rod from a job site. We're cool with the contractors, so don't call the cops.
