Who said Yugos didn't have any power?

Power was not the Yugo's problem, quality was, and I see that this conversion has not helped in that department not one damn bit.

Wait, TWO engines????

I don't think I've ever heard of a car/truck running dual engines . . . . .

You'd need a computer or something to sink them . . . god knows how he manages to shift both of them, especially when they are different types . . . .

Ivo used to run a 4-engine dragster to showcase the nailhead.

Wasn't that a hybrid concept?

gotcha. wouldnt imagine that would be too hot for power distribution.. you know if the diffs are all open or posi or lockable or torsen or what?

I kinda like some of the old zastavas, like 1300's. i guess 101's are kind of neat, but 1300 is known for better build quailty iirc.
124 was kind of cool looking. i dont think zastava made many of those though. mostly VAZ and (i forget the polish factory's name) and of course fiat.

most of the models were shared between fiat / zastava (=yugo) / VAZ (lada)..

reminds me... last time I was in serbia I saw a yugo get rearended by a newer opel. the opel was screwed up pretty good, and the yugo hardly damaged. i thought it was kinda funny.

Trabant is still the ultimate sleeper though 😉

There was a guy over here in the UK who had a Renault 5 with an engine in the front and the back.
A certain magazine featured his car, and they decided to pit it against a Lambourghini, Sierra Cosworth, and a few others.
It beat them all. Unfortunately, it blew a valve on one of the later runs, and couldn't go any further, but that's just insane- a 900kg pocket-rocket beating a ludicrously expensive supercar...

4wd is often stronger in the front or the rear.

yeah WRC cars can dial in the torque on the fly ... but thats all set in permanently. Dynamic asymetrical AWD would be horrible in corners imo, because you never know how the power is distributed. You can take a corner 20 times and the car will feel different every single time
