MSN Gaming zone made Flightsim multiplayer so easy. The new integrated lobby system of FlightsimX sucks really bad. A huge step backwards.

I played when it was the Internet Gaming Zone and it just had ~6 games, all board games I think. I just played Chess.

I was on there since it was just like chess/card games originally.

But then it progressed and I played Quake 2 on it a lot.

I got kicked out of servers a lot because people said I was a bot since I had a 400 ping and was beating the shit out of everyone.

Quake over MPlayer and Command and Conquer over Kali = old school win.

yep. played war2, quake2 and AoE on kali before moving to MSN zone

EDIT: I remember doing lots of "hacks" on the zone. You could crash the rooms and stuff, it was fun. The easiest "hack" was the 99 player room hack, lol. Just edit the registry entry for the room number and yay, you got 99.
