Who remembers the game "Castles"? Old DOS game.

Anyone still has this game? I remember it, I only made it a couple times to the second level and there, no chance, those Celts were too hard to beat. You had to build a castle and after a while, some guys attacked your castle and if you could withstand the attack, you could advance a level.

Yes. It was a fun and very easy game. You just need better Castle building skills.

On a related note, anyone know where I can find a PC version of the game Castles: Seige and Conquest? I played it on my Mac back in the day, but I know there must have been a PC version.

Edit: It looks like it may be a newer version of the game you linked to

They completely redid the focus of the game. I liked them both, but it did take some getting used to the new focus of Castles 2. I still play Castles 2 on occasion.

if you have a fry's near you i think you can find castles II in the value software section, i dont know about castles I though.

Is this the game where the announcer says "SURROUND CASTLES TO STAY ALIVE" .. and you hadda build walls and turrets?
