Who Provides the LCD for the Apple Cinema Displays

I have a PC and Mac setup in my household...I am happy with my Samsung 900NF for the PC, but want a flat screen for the MAC.

Compared to other flat screen LCDs of similar size and features, the Apple Cinema Displays are a bit pricey...as are most Apple products.

I do know that Apple integrates technologies from other manufacturers, and slaps the Apple design and logo over the top...hence the price premium.

Who makes the tech that goes into the Apple LCDs?

Apple uses LG Philips panels in their current line of LCDs.

Visit http://www.flatpanels.dk/panels.php and search for apple. Then do searches with the panel models to find other displays using the same panel.

it's the exact same one that dell uses

and dell's lcd are cheaper and the color's a little more accurate

I was informed that DELL monitors are not compatible with MACs?
