Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? :p

I'm trying to get into it again, the last time I played in was in HS and recently on Monday... where I was owned by my friend, and then afterwards, we were both pwnz0red by two old ladies in a doubles match.

Unfortunately, the closest (cheapest) court to my house is 30 minutes away -- if I wanna play closer, I have to pay membership fees >.<

Give me time to tie my sweater around my neck, pick up my new beamer from the dealership, and I'll come join you. ;)

Absolutely. I'd love to see them play against those 60-year-olds that pwned us!

My HS was one of the best in the country for a long time (eastern LI).... and other indoor sports practices would be moved/cancelled all the time because of big matches.... and everyone learned how to play in gym class.... crazyness i say!

Your best bet is to find a club playing at a nearby university. I played when at Auburn and later played at Tulane when I lived in New Orleans. Haven't picked up the racket in awhile though.

Badminton is great exercise, one of the more phsically exhausting sports out there.

I play regularly at UCI.

I live in the South Bay :(

Are non-students allowed to use the courts?

Yeah but there is a $7 fee :(

Aw... That plus gasoline ... Bleh :(

Closest one to me is Mar Vista...

That's right in my neck of the woods;) Too bad they're redoing the rest of the park. There's like 3-4 baseball diamonds, a roller-hockey rink, pool and a gym. One of the baseballs is torn up. I think they're redoing some drain lines or something.

man we used to play badminton in england in a run down old church hall, but it was so fun. I miss it. I like playing it better than tennis, but I think i like watching tennis more.
