Who picks the National Anthem singers for WS games?

The home team does it for the regular season, but I'm wondering if the networks take over for the World Series. With thousands of qualified singers eager for the chance to do it, it seems odd that the Yankees would select Clay-freakin-Aiken to sing for Game One. Hmmm, a Fox media creation singing on a Fox broadcast, that seems like too good a coincidence to be legit. Anyone know if the network takes over the job of selecting singers or did the Yankees actually make that ridiculous choice themselves?
