Who owns 7680x1440 in Greater Miami Florida Area

looking to find someone who owns three 1440p monitor in eyefinity setup.

looking to upgrade (real soon) to either to: ideally Dell 30" ($1000 x3) or realistically Asus 27" ($500 x3).

need to find out "IF" 290x x4 (8x/8x/8x/8x) is enough to deliver 60fps minimum at default "ultra" setting in BF4 MP. this is the limitus test.



will bring my machine (plus beer) to your place and we can run a few benchmarks. just make sure you have a dedicated 15amp circuit.

you can bring your eyefinity setup to my place (will provide lunch) and we can run a few benchmarks.

I hope you can find what you're looking for, but I have to think Craigslist would be a better bet.

Hope you find someone. I'd page Karlitos and setup a facetime or something or just bounce some thoughts back and forth, he's got similar setup and can maybe give you a look at his experience.

7680x1440 is 33% more pixels than a 4k screen, I think 4x290x is going to be close to 60fps mins but might have to drop a few settings from ultra.

Good luck. I've got 3x2560x1600 and 3x1920x1200 with a GTX 680 and a 650Ti (driving the three smaller monitors).

I can tell you that I can run Eve and Minecraft on all six. Anything else just dies.

Well I got the setup and with three 290x @1150mhz I am getting around 50-80 fps at 7680x1440.
The fourth 290x while giving out about an extra 5 fps is creating min fps spikes.

will only play in ultra setting. if 290x x4 cannot deliver at 7680x1440. will hold out to see if gtx 880 x4 can. 780ti x4 is not considered due to lack of rop.

With 880 aground the corner , it hardly makes sense to buy 4x 290Xs right now. Worst case 880 forces price drops on 290/290X, best case it outperforms it and has lower power usage. I would wait for sure given that you are willing to spend $2000.

anyway - for now - already own 290x x4 and running eyefinity 1080p 23".

reason for this request is - considering upgrading to eyefinity 1440p 27" or eyefinity 1600p 30". want to verify if 290x x4 can handle the upgrade.
