Who needs ritalin?

If pot really counteracts the effects of ADD then this could be a good thing. I know without insurance my monthly prescription of Ritalin would run me in the area of $120. And I kind of need it to function.

However, Ritalin makes me focused, aware and motivated. Lower doses of pot do the same, but it comes with this nice stupifying effect too. What good is focusing if it takes you longer than everyone else to complete your train of thought?

"hardly doubt"? Does that mean you mostly believe? 😛

I think you're dangerously close to the reality: ADHD (inclusive of the non-hyperactivity kind) is the most overdiagnosed disorder in existance. The symptoms of it can be caused by anything from schizophrenia to severe protein defficiency. (Little bro fell victim to the last one; damn hippie vegetarian 😛) Or just plain bad parenting. (What the hell do you think happens when you let your kid drink Mountain Dew?) I would say maybe 10~15% of kids diagnosed with the disease actually have it.

I concur.

Did ritalin once.... scary stuff. It was like I was on speed.

If it's organic...don't panic.

Dude, Ritalin IS speed.

Well, then I guess that makes sense then. Didn't really know what the hell it was when I took it (wasn't prescribed for me).
