not like new england football is any good

Drive in one of the cars for a few laps and you get a new perspective. Rally > NASCAR IMHO, but damn, no power steering sucks.

IMO:

WRC > F1 > other races (JGTC, BTCC etc) > nascar

yep. I only mentioned Rally America in my post, but I also love WRC. Rally America is mostly show off stuff, but still tricky courses (top speed is one I'm interested in a lot. Ken Block does some crazy stunt jumps too)
Oh, and the assorted GT-style leagues.

Yep...nothing more exciting than watching advertisements with wheels going around and around and around and around.

Yep.

Bah. Daytona is more like a drafting Chess game than anything else.

Explaining NASCAR as a "go fast, turn left" sport is like explaining the NFL as "run the football, throw the football" sport. Accurate, yet WAY oversimplified.

200-300 laps of people driving a stock car and steering left...ohh boy I will try and curb my enthusiasm

<--in the heart of redneck country too

Anyone catch the end of the race?

For a while I thought the Hendrick cars were going to finish 1-2-3, Tony seemed like the only other driver to have a shot at it. Nice to see Jr. win again, been a long time. Although, I have an odd hate for Gordon and Johnson, and was upset that Stewart lost. =/

The CoT seemed to be pretty decent, that was some REALLY close racing. We'll see how it goes next Sunday.

I watched the race and just woke up from a quick nap😀 Overall a nice clean fun shootout. I think Gordon and Johnson may get frustrated if Jr. has a decent year. Hard to say at this point but I'm pulling for him.

I just can't get Nascar. I live in GA so Nascar is big here, but I find it extremely dull.

Get on down to hampton and check out a race live. Much more entertaining than watching it on tv. I can't sit and watch a race on tv, I'd rather watch the highlights on the speed channel.

its way fun to be part of a crew at a local track, or at least watching live races. watching them on tv is not as fun.
