got the car back up and running on sat... only hiccup was the rider for the throwout bearing not being the same on the newer revision trans.

anyways, have about 20 miles on the car now, trans feels good. how can I complain, 500 for a replacement trans and I'm back up.

as far as what failed, it sounds like there is a problem on these (at least the older rev) trans with the 3rd gear engagement ring being weak and brazed on to the gear. sounds like it has been known to happen.

either way, back on the road

So they have made so many different 350z, trims, years, engines, HP increases, brembos came and went, weight steadily increases... and from I take it from this tread some years got stronger transmissions...

So AT garage, which is the ideal year/trim 350Z to get?

Also in 2003 did that tire feathering ever get fixed? I heard no matter what people did taking into the dealers it never truly got fixed and in 2004 they changed it up.

In the 370z it basically came in the following: Base, Sport Touring, Nismo.

7 speed Automatic or 6 speed Manual (the auto was faster), leather or cloth, and then pick your colors very simple.
