Who Makes Your Geforce2 and How is the 2d Quality? What Res?

My local store has offered to let me exchange my MSI Geforce2 Pro for a another card. I can't run my desktop above 1024x768 or else I get the horrible banding that everyone is talking about. I have a Viewsonice PS790 monitor so I know it's not the monitors fault. So tell me how your card is doing please. Thanks.

Before I went to the 3 I tried a few different ones and the Visiontek Pro was quite good for nVidia.

I think I can get a Hercules Pro but I'm not sure about the Visiontek. I just want to stay away from a Ati card. Since I have a 1333 Athlon I might get a Prophet4500.
