ok i need to know who uses what chipests in their boards. I wanted to get an MSI board but it seems that they only use via chipsets and i have read alot to stay away from via chips. I think from whaT i have read that sis is the only way to go. So how about some good info please.

If you want to use AMD chips, you only really have 2 choices right now with regards to chipsets.

SIS735
VIA KT266A

If you wait a couple weeks, you can look forward to the nForce chipsets. The best place I've seen to tell who makes what, is to go to www.newegg.com, and under motherboards, you'll be able to select the chipset, and it will show you all the boards.

only stay away from VIA if you are using an Intel platform. For AMD chip,s tey currently make the best chipset- the KT266A. Right behind that falls the AMD 760 chipset. I dont know what the SiS chipset is called, but from what I've heard its actually not that bad. Its pretty hard to go wrong when buying an AMD mobo right now.
