Who makes the most stable/tested motherboards for Intel CPUs?

Workstation class, not server class (unless you think server MBs is the way to go in this case). No overclocking, SLI, etc. Just something that is rock solid, able to sustain above average room temperatures (i.e. doesn't overheat easily), and some EMI/RFI resistance (from nearby devices).

Is it Intel motherboards?

I'd say an Intel board is probably the best bet given your requirements. They rarely the fastest, but as for stability and lack of issues with memory, they're granite.

I've always stayed with Intel for business for stability and reliability. I've got a bunch of 865 mainboards still going strong after 6 years. Just put a DX58SO in a workstation for my partner. Bios is definitely a little lacking compared to some of the import boards but definitely stable.

Supermicro boards are super reliable. I have some that are over 7 years hard service and not a problem. Lots of Sanyo electrolytic caps - no cheap junk. They last forever. 🙂

You still have to shop by model. By this i mean you need to research the particular model you are interested in to see if it has any faults. All the manufacturers make some good mobos but they all make some bad ones too. Even Intel.

No doubt Intel makes the best reliable choice for all options you want..They make their best chipset/mobo. The only disadvantage with these are their very high price..
