i bought the 2100 presario it comes with a 30 gig drive but man it feels slow if i upgrade my hard ware would i see any benefits

I saw that drive on some site and was wondering if it was a typo. How badly does this drive affect your battery performance?
 
I've read about several laptop hard drives with 16 megs of cache... a quick google search turned up this reference but I'm sure there are more out there. (This one is only 5400 rpm anyway) but it's only $121

If you can get a 7200 rpm with 16 megs of cache, that should make a substantial difference in the response time of the laptop
 
121 seems to be a great price I wonder what is going to give me more performance the hard drive upgrade or maybe more ram.

I have 320 already 64 is for vid

I run dragon and office apps mostly and kazaa and photoshop once in a full blue moon
