ive always liked mcguard. their keys that slide over the lock itself for added stability in removal/tightening has been a huge plus in my book. way less likely to jack up the key with repeated use.

You do realize those keyed lugs can be removed in seconds? It isn't even tough. There are tools you can buy to do it but it can easily be done with a 12 point socket not quite large enough to fit over the keyed lug, a hammer, and a breaker bar. It is almost as quick as taking regular lugs off. The locks are not stopping the kind of people who actually steal rims/tires.

if they want your wheels they will take them...

obvious wheel locks will only scare off the dumb kids on the block from stealing yours. You can hammer 12pt socket on like said above, drill thru some. Hell just smash some. if they end not taking your wheel that rim will be damaged like hell..

nothing escapes a FLAT-BED tow truck... if they REALLY want your wheel or car.

that being said i like own a set of BLUE MCGARD Spine Guard lugs with no real wheel lock. looking at it, a 12pt socket will take care of these lugs nuts. Like i said i got them to scare the retard kids on the block paired up with my OEM looking wheels i should be safe.

mcgard makes oem locks for almost all the dealerships.

i know its not a fool-proof solution, but its better than nothing imo for most vehicles. as for the socket, well, good luck finding a socket that will both fit over the lug and fit in the recessed space of the wheel if you want the wheels off my G8. the factory lugs didnt fit with the wheels i threw on so i had to get spline drive lugs. i dont have any sockets thin enough to get on the lugs even with a hammer cuz it wont fit in the hole. gotta use the special splined one that came with the lugnuts and even then its still a tight fit.
