Who makes the best Television?

I have enjoyed my Flat Screen Sony Wega for the past 4 years, still going strong. Although i have a Philco that was made in the 1970s still in use in the other room that still works great, now that was a long lasting TV, never needed any service on it and still works.

Probably Magnavox for me, as mine is fourteen years old and has no problems aside from a missing volume button. Can't say the same about my GE which is having flickering problems and it's only eight years old.

i have sony wega too, and it rocks, but the 2000$ toshiba i saw was just simply outstandin compared to any of the sony tv's (not including the plasma's above 42")

Curtis Mathis was back in the day..but alas, my poor American TV company is no more I think.

Anyhoo, I'd say sony even though I hate the rest of their products.

Loewe make the best sets at the high end, Philips make the best sets at the low end....

in the middle, i'd go with either Panasonic or Toshiba....Tosh have some beautiful mid range 28-32in sets....
