Who makes the best simple HD video recorder these days?

Simply enough, I'm just looking for one of these little pocket devices to record HD video. I'd prefer it to have memory cards that can be swapped out and maybe mechanical stabilization. Can I get something good for, say, $150 these days? I found some threads while searching but none of them were very recent. Thanks.

The new Flip Ultra has FlipPort where video can be off loaded should the memory (8GB) get full. It shoots full 720i @ 60fps. Pretty capable device for $199.xx.

It would really be nice if they added a micro SDHD slot nest issue. But, no, you can't add memory. 8 GB, however, ain't chopped liver for a pocket camcorder.

I have a Playsport HD. I use it more than my regular camcorder mainly because of the HD, it's a bit more rugged, has interchangeable memory and is waterproof (i've used it more than a dozen times at the local pool to capture my kid's progress with learning how to swim).

Well I'm not saying this Sanyo CG20 is the best but it's got the features. I really like the pistol grip, but am unsure about Sanyo quality. However the price is sinking toward $150 after being around $180 this summer.

my dxg-581v came in today and the early test results are great. i'm eager to see how well it works with fast action sports, as i'm mainly planning to use it for recording tennis lessons. i'll have to wait for it to stop raining and will probably need to get a tripod as well.
