Who makes the best Laptop Memory? I'm buying a new Dell Inspiron 8600 and I need to beef up its memory (not paying dell's exorbitant rates). It is PC2700 DDR SODIMM. I've been out of the game for a long time and have no clue who's the best on the block any longer. And any suggestions on the best place to get it (though I can find deals once I know what brand I want)?

Kingston? Corsair? Samsung? PNY? Mushkin? Crucial? etc

I would definately use Crucial with their 100% compatibility guarantee. Some laptops are very picky about their RAM and won't accept regular modules even from well-known manufacturers.
 
Since you`re asking me 😉 I`ll say Crucial,high quality ram with limited lifetime warranty,good prices ,excellent customer service so you can`t go wrong with their ram IMHO.
