the best is the one called instant noodle king , they are so good that other companies are coming out with imitations with samiliar sounding, lookalike graphic/packaging to try to steal sales from them. If you are not asian, you might not like it thou. They are good to me, because the noodles taste like the same you would get from a noodle shop, thats hard to do from an instant soup.

Generally, I'd say that the Cup Noodles are slightly better than those that come in the plastic wrapper and sell 3x for a dollar. I've had Nong Shim which is made by a Korean company. More Salt, more pepper, oil, little colored things that float, minimal nutritional value, and more expensive. Nong Shim is spicier though, if that's your thing. For the best quality and highest price, I'd go for the Thai Noodles(sorry no brand name).

If you want to put effort in, then buy whatever is the cheapest and add in something nutritious.

All of them suck.
Go to a nearest Korean grocery store and you'll be amazed how many selections there are and how they are so much better than those ones you mentioned
(Nong-Sim is a Korean brand, but what you get from a Korean grocery is different.)

LOL. You're correct. They're the ones that resemble HONG KONG STYLE 'won ton' noodles. Altho' Koreans UDON are pretty good too.

BTW, the ones listed on the poll are pure crap targeted for americans (as usual).

I actualy just tried that exact type right now out of curiousity.

ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL.

Noodles are very poor quality. Soggy and chewy.

Soup base tasted like tap water and salt.

If you can't taste the difference, I feel sorry for you.:(
