Who makes the best GeForce2 GTS?

I am going to buy a new video card soon, probably the GeForce2 GTS, and I am wondering which company makes the best one and what is a good price to pay for it. If someone could tell me that would be great. Thanks

They're all pretty good... I have an Asus v7700 pure and its pretty cool. if you want tv in/out and svideo in/out etc, they have a v7700 deluxe. I think leadtek had one with faster memory which would help a lot, but I really dont remember. Check out tomshardware (in their video guide section). tom's has a lot of good benchmarks.

I'm assuming that by GTS you mean non-ultra and non-pro. Based on this, the suma 64 meg one seems best (read the link), or possibly this, which gives the gainward cardexpert gf2 gts the #1 spot. Read both links if you want the whole story.

The reason these 2 cards are "best" is b/c they use faster memory. I know nothing about drivers / features / etc.

Consider the ATi Radeon LE. It's a crippled Radeon 32 DDR that is reborn with a simple BIOS or driver tweak.

In most games it holds its own against the GTS and it sells for significantly less. It should have a little better 2D image quality at high resolutions, too. The Win2K drivers have reportedly been improved.

Thanks for all your help. I currently have a Ati 128 Rage Xpert 2000 32 mb and it sucks for playing games like Tribes 2. Does anyone know who a good retailer is or where i can get a card for the cheapest price possible. Thanks
