No no no.....I'm not talking about their phones in general. I know they have phones from Samsung, LG, Sanyo, and used to have Nokia. But they have phones that have no manufacturer on them...all they say is "Sprint PCS" on them.

;)

Guy, I just told you QUALCOMM I have the touchpoint 1100 in my hand as I type this.

OK calm down GUY:disgust:. How do you know it's Qualcomm? I haven't seen it written anywhere on the phone.

There should be a little sticker on the top next to the antenna, says "made by qualcomm"

My old Samsung 1000 had a sticker next to the antenna that said, "Digital by Qualcomm." It implies the technology is Qualcomm, but the phone itself was made by Samsung.

Actually I think the 1100 is made by LG Electronics.

"Made by Qualcomm" is the technology used since Qualcomm is the pioneer or something of the CDMA protocol. My Nokia said that when I had that one.

I guess it must depend on the model.

Touchpoint series phones are all contracted out. Some are made by Kyocera/Qualcomm, Denso, some by LG etc.

I believe LG makes the newest one (the small flip with the caller-id display on the top.)
