Who makes slim/thin SATA III & PWR cable?

There are two sets of holes to mount two 2.5" drives on the bottom of Lian Li PC-V354, but none of my SATA & power cables could fit with both SSD mounted (they're flushed to the surface).

Is there anything like ultra thin SATA & Power cable that I can use?

Another option is to get longer screws (for the SSD) and some spacers to raise them from the floor.

I've never heard of slimline SATA or power connectors. Suprising Lian Li didn't provide any spacers. I've had a look at some assembly reviews of that case and nobody else has mentioned this problem. Got a pic?

I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for but I purchase all my cables from http://www.satacables.com/index.html and the yellow cables have less width than a regular SATA cable.

Their UltraFlex 30AWG cables are also a little smaller and can be twisted like a fresh piece of gum.

Old Hippie: it's the thickness (up/down), not width (left/right). Satacables.com doesn't have them.
Woops....Screwed-up again! LOL!

I dunno what everyone else is doing but I've never read about any special cable being needed.

You may hafta go to plan "B". :)

Good Luck!

Lian Li did a bad design job with this case.

I could accept that:
- the side panels are secured by 8 tiny screws on each side
- one of the side panel double duty as the mobo tray
- the top 140mm fan is not centered to the case
- installing optical drive require removal of 140mm fan
- no vent holes on the side, forcing only one orientation of atx psu
I think one or two of the above would be enough of a deal breaker for some people.

But, seriously, why put 2.5" mounting holes (for 2 drives), when in reality they're useless/require mods/special cable adapters.

I think it's easier to drill my own mounting holes for the 2 SSD under the optical drive cage. Just need to make sure that the connector side of the SSD is at the edge of the cage. I'm going to need route power and sata cable to the area anyway, might as well put the drives there..

IMO, this is the ultimate hobbyist case; requiring planning, time and mods. It should come with a warning label stating so. :)

Thanks for the responses, Gents.

I already looked at that review of the case and I could not see from it your actual problem. Yes there is a shot of the mounting bracket but with nothing on it or a shot of it in the case it's pretty useless.

Coup27: just put an SSD flat on a table, see if you can connect sata and power cables to it. You wouldn't be able to, because the head the cables are thicker than the space between SSD and table.
All optical, HDD and SSD drive always get mounted with their back hanging out for this reason.
