Who makes nice khakis that aren't too tapered at the bottom?

Brand doesn't really matter. but i don't want the kind with like 20 pockets all over the place.

most importantly, i like some space at the ankles. not really wide-leg, but able to fit over my boot and have still have some space left.

anyone know?

The ones I got from old navy last week are cool. They barely taper at all. Pretty much straight legged without that baggy gangsta look.

Silvertab used to make a nice pair of straight khakis, don't know how they make em these days though

tried J Crew this weekend cuz of the 30% off, but their khakis were tapered... sigh...

i'll go check old navy (though i never shop from there, this will be an exception). good thing is that they're cheap too

silvertab is gonna be like $50+
was hoping to spend about $30 - $40..

Silvertab used to be cool, but I've been looking for their baggy cords lately and they only have the fat threads now in relaxed fit. The older skinny thread ones were cool with baggy fit. I sure wish they'd bring em back. same with their khakis.

I guess they aren't technically khakis, but RL Polo Chinos are like that. They have a nice sheen to them that you don't get with khakis, plus, you can get away with not ironing them

WasntMe, I couldnt agree more.
The best khakis I have found are Bananna Republic. The material is great, the stitching is done with care, and they look pretty good in my opinion.
