Who makes good toasters?

Been through two in the past three months, I'm ready to fork over for a really good one. Brand recommendation?

We have an Oster that seems pretty decent. It has separate functions for toast/bagels and also has a Frozen function.

That's what I currently have. A bright metallic red Oster from Target. Looks awesome and did the job great, but then it started "clicking" and smelling burnt just sitting there doing nothing. Something is broken in it. Gah!

how about a toaster oven? kill two birds with one stone...toaster..and everything else

the Panasonic NB-G100P is awesome

Do these toasters butter your bread and cook everything else for you? I'm happy with my 7 dollar one from Wallyworld...geez...

I agree man. Except, I'd probably get a little better than the $7 one. Maybe $20.

I've been more than happy with my $25 Hamilton Beech toaster. Polished stainless, looks kinda like the old fashioned Toastmaster ones. A year so far and no reason to expect it to crap out any time soon.

I think I need the one you have. I had a basic white one as a wedding gift that started doing the burning thing, then my red Oster broke too 🙁

I have a toaster oven and I LOVE it. It's like having your own personal Quiznos. But by the time it heats up a toaster could have already toasted my bread and I could be buttering it lol.
