Who makes good/best construction vans?

I need to buy one of those white vans that contractors always use. You know the kind. Does anyone have any knowledge in this field? What should i look for? Ford? Chevy? Import?

I don't think there's such thing as an import in the same class as those big ole Domestic vans.

I say Chevy. We have an auto dealership over here that sells only those big white Chevy vans.

you could ask a contractor, though.

We use alot of them, Chevy is best, then Ford, and don't even think about a Dodge!

Also, is it better to buy new or used? If used, how old is the oldest recommended? We don't really have any money to spend right now, so we want to find a way to lease it with no payments for at least a year.

Look around in the local used vehicle guides... my dad bought a used van from Bell Canada. It was in excellent condition and he got it for a great price.... certainly better than the dozen or so privately sold vans he looked at.
