I perfer the term "low-cut sock" over the term "man-footie". Your term just seems wrong on so many levels.

I can't see the purpose of this. Usually you wear black socks to go with black shoes. But if your socks are hidden by such shoes, the color doesn't matter. What unusual circumstance do you have that you need to worry about the color of your man-footie?
