Who makes a good USB NTSC Tuner

I was wondering who makes a good USB NTSC tuner. It can also do ATSC and QAM but its not necessary unless that is the only way to get a good NTSC tuner. Our cable is still NTSC and will be for a long time unless I want to pay for HDTV plus for each extra tuner box (not happening). I have not seen many good reviews on Newegg for the USB tuners. NTSC is getting hard to find but many are still using NTSC through cable.

Your cable is probably going to be NTSC for another year, max. All of the cable providers are moving very aggressively to switch to all digital.

Well that would be true if I did not live in Podunk Alabama with Mediacom cable. They have not given any ultamatums as far as cutting us off. They claim they won't be using any sort of internal decoder cards but instead the set top box. If I have to pay for a set top box I will probably go with a dish. Right now I have one MCE2005 system with two PCI analog tuners and another HTPC in the bedroom with the HD home run tuner and one Analog card. I don't know why the cable companies don't just decode all the HDTV channels into clear QAM using their set top boxes so you can do what you want with the content in your own house.

I have gotten spoiled with MCE and having multiple computers and multiple tuners. Going back to having one set top box on one TV would be like going back to the stone age.

Well all I want a USB tuner for is to help a friend record kiddy shows for her 2 yr old and be able to play them later or on vacation etc.
