Who makes a good headphone and mic combo?

Need to play games and talk online at night time when everybody's asleep so I can't use my speakers. What do you guys recommend?

Do those Midiland's have good bass? (I know that's hard with headphones).

I have the Labtec LVA-8550 and they sound OK, but they're lacking in the bass department.

I can't find those Labtec headphones on their website. Is that a discontinued item?

Bass response is far better on the HS1's. Even though they look kinda big and clunky they sound great and are exceptionally comfortable. Picked mine up for around $40+shipping.

I will tell you a cheap way !!! Go to visitalk.com and register with them for free. In about 4 weeks, they send you a nice labtech headphone/microphone combo . I got mine shipped for free, but I beleive they now charge 2.99 for shipping !!!

And of course, they are good.

Has anyone tried Koss? They seem to have quite a few in that same price range. I wouldn't mind spending more than $50 if anyone has some other suggestions. It seems like the Plantronics have the biggest speakers, but that doesn't mean they have the best sound.

I got the freebees from visi but they are single ear headphones. I am interested in those midiland for $15 with free shipping. Are they really decent?

The Midiland's are decent, especially for the price. The bass is good for headphones that small, plenty for games and MP3 playing. I'm sure you could get better for $50 but I think the Midiland's are the best bang for the buck.

Actually dealer the ones I linked to are newer than the ones on Labtec's site...they just haven't updated.
