I usually dont brag, but I am proud, first semester in college and all.
Anyway, can you put this kind of thing on your resume? What does it do for you?

3.675 GPA BTW.
 
I usually dont brag either, but i finished up my Masters of Computer Science course work this semister. All i have to do now is take the comprehensive exit exam and I am done. 3.09 overall, not to bad 🙂

Not really, what matters is your overall GPA and major GPA (if overall GPA is bad), not how you did one semester / quarter. And GPA really only matters for your first job or two, until you have some work experience.

Most honor societies are not worth joining for a resume item either, especially if they want you to pay them.

But good work! 🙂 (and since it's a brag thread: BS CS '91 UM-St Louis summa cum laude)

my advisor emailed me about it. Check your schools site. I think its usually around 3.4-3.6 that you make it.

hell yeah ill put it on a resume, especially for an internship or something when one usually does not haev much else to show for... but my grades arent high enought o garner that kinda poop 😱 😛

This semister sucked hard fat cock!!! It's my first at this school where I haven't graced the deans (or president's) list.

I tried my best to balance work/school/'nother job, but it still dragged my GPA down from 3.8 to 3.3 (overall I'm assuming). I don't want to know what I got this semester. I know I failed one class, philosophy of logic, becuase I have no idea how many 8 am quizzes I slept through after working late. I'll just take it again, later in the day, with a better professor--one who doesn't talk down to us like we've never been exposed to predicate calculus before (and one who uses the proper notation as well).

Next semester should be better though.
