I agree with you, however alot of Bush's decisions are coming not only from him, but from his top advisors, cabinet members, and the capital. You have to give him credit that hes working hard, just as everyone else is in this huge effort.

good_guy, if we don't make their lives misearable in the terrorist supporting countries and make the price of hosting those terrorists so high that they stop doing it, then we will never be rid of terrorism. If we just piss around and talk and negotiate, the terrorists will just do stuff more often because they think they can get away with it.

It's just like the bully who steals your milk money. If you let him get away with it, he'll keep doing it every day. if you bash his brains in with a baseball bat one day, he'll stop doing it.

"When Clinton and Gore was president I think things were a little more thought out before any action was taken." LOL Don't you remember the bombing of the pharmacy and the Chinese Embassy??....can you say Ooops!! Thank God China didn't get into it with us back then....of course thats probably because Clinton was taking all of that campaign money for trade on our nuclear technology.

What you think is probably because of what you said here.... "BTW I've deceided that he was a idtiot a while back "

First off we haven't declared or rushed into war at all. We don't even know who we've "declared war" against yet. (Although 99.9% of people think its that Bin Laden bastard) I don't think he's rushing anything. If he was rushing he would have declared war and said "we'll demolish any bastard or bastard countries who fvcks with us".

<< Honestly i think he just an idiot who might start WW3 >>

Ok so how many innocent American lives have to be lost before its ok to declare war? Something like 5,000 people are still missing (presumed dead) and that doesn't include all the others who have been accounted for as have died. They did it in our own soil too. If this is not a good enough reason to declare war then nothing is.

<< I'm not trying to get people pissed i just wanna know if anyone is on the "we're rushing into war too fast/bush is an idiot" side >>

5000+ people are dead -- we are rushing into something? Man, you need to set your priorities....This is WAR!! If Clinton and Bush Sr. would have wiped these a-holes off the planet years back this might not have happened. Bush is just picking up their mess.....

Ugghhhh...

No one really wants war, but from time to time it is necessary in order to make sure things never happen again. Just think about what would happen if no response or retaliation was made, terrorists would see open season on the US and it would be more dangerous than what bush is doing now. This is a VERY complex issue and its impossible to make a point without looking at all sides.

just my thoughts

thanks for explaining your gut rather than something a little more specific.

I have some contentions with some things but right now my prayers are for him because of the tough decisions he has to make. This will define his 'legacy' so I dont think anyone can say much about him right now because noone knows yet whats going to happen. I have to believe he doesn't want ww3 also.

my generation, Gen X has been decadent all our lives and we never have had any great conflict really. Every Generation since America was founded has had their one great conflict, well its 30+ years into gen X and we haven't had ours. Maybe this will be our conflict and it's what give our generation an identity and steel our resolve.

Indecisiveness would show weakness. If he just say there saying "duuuuuuh, I don't know what to do" he'd be getting roasted by probably everyone but you.

<< who wants WWIII when we all considered that humanbeings have learnt fron their mistakes >>

Oh yeah, who wants to be at Ground Zero here in America when the next sub human terrorist detonates a nuclear device, maybe in downtown Glendale?

El Norm, instead of calling him an idiot, why not give the man a chance. As far as starting another war, I think you can blame those monsters who perpetrated this catastrophe for starting this war. What we are going to do now is make sure that they won't be able to do something like this again. I gaurantee you that if we do nothing Bin Laden will be even more emboldened and others out there will emulate him.

This is life during wartime and you better get use to it. No more special pampered life, no more me first attitudes because It's time to stop your sobbing. It's your turn to shoulder the weight of America and help her rise above this evil that's been visited upon her.

<< I prefer non violence than violence >>

So did those people in the WTC. Unfortunately those sub human bastards that are Bin Ladens bitches have a different preference. After all it's not like they don't want to die , they just want to take a few hundered thousand of us with them when they do die. What I find strange though is that Bin Laden himself is willing to send these idiots to their death yet he hides like a cowardly Rat when faced with the same consequences. Obviously he has fools as followers.

Here's a shocker - you can't. What's to stop them next time from flying a private Cessna filled with explosives into a building? Or driving a UHaul with explosives into the ground floor of a building? You cannot stop terrorism. You can try to prevent it but nothing is guaranteed. Regarding the whole rushing into war - if one of the 10,000+ people who died was a family member of yours I'm sure you'd have a different attitude.

ok but check this out, why not now that we know its binladin 99.999% just go and make an arangemant the country to get taht guy, and if they don;t cooperate then we will be forced to take action.... but instead we see on tv allthis going to war stuff, instead of seeing all our options... its a fact that this is a stronger country and that we can wipe them out with no problem... but how bout looking for other options that might not lead to more casualties...
