Who liked the movie "Gladiator"?

I think it was a very well done movie, excellent overall. What did everyone else think? I actually couldn't find anything to complain about with this movie.

Watching "The Mummy" afterwards was boring. I don't know why, it just seemed... crappy.

Gladiator is definitely an epic. I went to Rome late this summer and saw the colliseum--WOW!!!

Man and this movie looks and sounds so good on DVD, especially in DTS with anamorphic enhancement! It's for sure one of my favorites.

I have the DVD and love it!

The part where the foot soldiers take on those chariots, and woop their butts is incredible!!! The entire movie is very well made, and never gets boring no matter how many times I watch it.

Hmm, well I just rented Clerks and am about to watch it. Heard the movie was pretty funny...

Clerks is a good movie but in an ENTIRELY different way. Have you seen/liked any of Kevin Smith's other movies?

Gladiator was amazing. It really made you feel like you were there. Such incredible sharpness and clarity. I rented White Squall after that and was also excellent. Anyone who enjoyed the Ridley Scott's cinematography in Gladiator will enjoy the cinematography in White Squall also I think.

Yeap I definately liked Gladiator, enough to buy the DVD, it's not as good the 2nd time, but it's still good.

I had the same feeling about being bored when I watched se7en and then watched Gone in 60 seconds.

Same as Atom "overrated". Definitely in the top 25 for the year but it was close. Visuals very good. Not very good story. Braveheart it was not. I did like the Extra features on disk 2.
