i have a laptop lenovo thinkpad t61
windows 7 ultimate
64bit
dual core @ 2.00GHz
3GB RAM
Movile Intel GMA X3100
Total Available Graphics Memory: 358MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 0MB
System Video Memory: 64MB
Shared System Memory: 294MB

and im about to buy a Turbo cache memory 4GB but i dont really know what it is for?

is it for Graphic stuff or what?

i want to play some games and thats why i want to buy the turbo cache memory but 1st i would like to know what turbo cache memory is?

can please some one help me with this? :)

TurboCache is shared system VRAM for low end nVidia cards. You don't buy turbocache RAM, you buy a turbocache video card and it eats some of your system ram. (Instead of having 512 MBs of VRAM, it'll have 128 and borrow 384 from your system.)

Some T61s also had onboard GPUs that were nVidia. You can't upgrade the VRAM on those afaik.

If somebody is trying to sell you something having to do with turbocache, I think it's safe to assume you don't need it.

OP started _11_ threads on this so far, plus posted it to a random thread in the PC games forum.

OP is either a spammer or very, very eager to find out about turbo memory (but not eager enough to try Google or wiki).
