any physician office that has a blood works lab. They extracted a small vial of my mana and sent the results a week later

Last time I had it checked:

Triglycerides: 90 mg/dL
Total Chol: 224 mg/dL
HDL: 83.2 mg/dL
LDL: 122.80 mg/dL

I eat fastfood for breakfast and lunch, 6-7 days a week. Have for the past 3 years. I don't exercise because I get enough from my line of work. I eat anything I want. 6ft, 165lbs, 32 years old.

Doc put me on Fish oil supplement. I have also started excercising more regularly and cut out crap like sodas and ice cream.....have to get it re-checked in 3 months.

Any way one can test one's cholesterol at home? Dangerous chemistry and strange machine suggestions welcome.

Prick your finger and lick the blood, if it tastes like butter your cholesterol is to high.

Don't have the exact data handy, but my totals the last few times were 244, 239 and 260. After that my doctor put me on simvastatin every other day, and three months later it was down to 196. Due to be checked again in a couple weeks.
