I'm about to set-up a Linksys router (BEFSR41) in an office with both Mac and PC workstations. I want to use the DHCP server option, so that people with laptops can come in and connect to the network.

On the PC, this is done by checking off 'obtain an IP address automatically' in Network Properties. Is there an equivilent to this on the MAC?

Please point me in the right direction.

Hmmm... in TCP/IP in Control Panels, you can choose to obtain an IP address using DHCP. You also need to go under the Chooser and activate the connection.

I don't have a Mac sitting in front of me, but I think this is correct.
