Uh, on every multimeter I've used if you have it biased in the right direction it will tell you "turn on voltage" of the diode...so for a common diode about .7VOriginally posted by: FoBoT
1 - checks continuity. a diode will pass DC one direction and block it the other. so with the + and - one way, you get 0 ohms and the other way you get infinite
