Plus, with this my todo list is piped directly to my desktop.

I really need a third monitor for this computer(I've already got 5, but 4 are for the trading PC)

If one of my friends ever tries to pull out the "Mike, you are a nerd" line at parties I cut them short with, "how much money do you make and how much money do I make". Shuts them up reaaaaal quick.

I agree that plain text is the way to go. I usually keep an instance of Notepad up with various stuff copied into it. If I didn't do most of my work over SSH, I'd probably have a Cygwin window open most of the time too.
