If you had to pick one famous person to model your physique after, who would it be? Mine would be Mike Lovato or Chris Lieto.

Neither one is bulky, but they're amazingly cut and fit. I've got a few more percent body fat to lose before I get close to being where they are, but I can see it happening by race season 2009.

All right, now it's your turn. ;)

Gred Amundson

He's big, but very well rounded and not silly looking. He's also incredibly fit (he's been a winner of the Toughest Cop Alive competition).

Lance. I'm not a cyclist but even a regular person can appreciate the things he went through and the incredible athleticism this guy has. And what's even more incredible to me is him doing marathons now...ran a 2:50 in this year's Boston. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a resting HR of 35BPM.

He's my favorite UFC fighter and really well built. Good call. If I wasn't going to try an ironman I'd have to say that would be a good build to strive for.

Arnold! Dude looks amazing. Since I'll never make it there perhaps I should find someone else, but that can wait till I'm unpacked

See this StrongLifts.com post

As far as muscle size goes, something like this would be awesome. But I'm not really training for that type of physique at all, and I'd imagine it would be quite bulky for playing sports. (basketball)

More realistically, like this guy.

I like the physique of oly lifters (not the 105+kg guys though, the leaner guys). That or the elite Crossfit guys like Greg Amundson. I think endurance athletes look too skinny while bodybuilders look too big.

Randy Couture

The reason I pick Couture is because of his functional fitness. He's amazing for being middle-aged and that's what I aspire to do. He looks great and maintains an amazing fitness level. FTW.

Did you look at the pics of Michael Lovato? He doesn't look skinny at all IMO.

Michael Lovato. He's a lil bit small, but he's bigger than most endurance athletes.

Yeah he looks pretty good, lean but toned, kind of like Lance Armstrong, not skin and bones like some runners.
