Nope you cannot play Lizardman, Berserker or Assassin in arcade mode, only in versus mode. And they dont have a move list.

To answer the original question, I like Nightmare best.

 
I know Talim the best right now, but I am trying to learn other characters (I like to use random character selection when I play against my friends). She's very quick.
 
i like mitsurugi the best. i especially like him with the damascus sword. i just finished weapon master out totally last week.

The Damascus sword is really devastating. I think it does 175% damage. 😀
 
Talim first, then Kilik and Ivy about equal as my 2nd best.

Got it on the Gamecube because that's the console I have. I really don't care for Link, as I feel he is rather cheap with his weapons.
