An IP address reporting this email address in our log files has been hitting one of our sites 100s of 1000s of times a day.

His IP belongs to RCN but for some reason is reporting that email address in the browser field..

Do you think someone has hijacked the email address and using it as an attack?

I am afraid to email that address as it might be some spam thing created to who ever is doing the attacks.

Or, he might just be some poor shmuck who got his email address attached to an attack.
 
Oh neat-o.

Called up USA Today and tracked him down. Turns out that guy is the head of the entire usatoday.com website and he has no idea why his names are going into the attack.. guess I have to wait on RCNs abuse team to get back to me now to figure out where and what is going on.
