I was WAY off, I thought it was a tropical storm moving west that picked up speed with the warm jet stream off the coast then hit a huge cold front.

Those damn pastors! Someone should drive a car into their churches and beat them to death with an electric guitar.......... oh wait.

Something more current on that story:

Looks like the guy who did this was either crazy or on drugs, or both. What a strange incident.

Not that it has much to do with the OP topic.

I did hear that climate scientists have predicted more powerful and more frequent storms an the oceans warm so one possible cause may be man made global warming. Looking deeper then, we could say that our lack of action to curb global warming could be at fault, and looking deeper still, we should maybe blame Republicans since they as a group have their heads up their ass in global warming denial. I have heard, also, there's no doubt at all that man made global warming is real. I would think, therefore, given the cost these more frequent and more powerful storms bring, that some money should be going to reverse our current trend, just in case the fault really is ourselves.

I heard the gays were to blame, but they are usually so nice so I'm thinking it's terrorists.

True, but this is more on topic.

More to do with the science behind the storm.
I guess I should have looked one post down and seen Moonies post.

If the American people saw Romney's full tax returns they he could never win the election. He won't reveal he's unelectable and doesn't deserve the job.

If it wasn't for the homosexual agenda, everything would be better. Why can't things just be like they were 2000 years ago?

I'm not sure what that has to do with the OP, but nice attempt to deflect criticism from one stupid thing by trying to grab attention with something else.

Let's see, some blame Bush or Mayans or Snooki's baby or Gundam style or Jersey Shore and you have a little snit over my post ?

They were mocking the pastor by assigning blame to equally stupid things. You're deflecting attention away from the pastor by mentioning another incident.
