with the economy and job market at its current shape, this is becoming more and more prevalent.
i know some people in their early 30's still living with their parents.

how many have moved out and had to move back in because of job loss or as a cost saving measure?

I have 3 friends the same age as me (28) who never moved out, not counting college... idk how they do it.

I moved back home for 2 months after initially moving out due to some apartment lease issues and it drove me batshit insane.

I moved out at the ancient age of 25 - about seven months after graduation and six months after starting a job.

This. I'm planning on /trying/ to live at home after I graduate, at least for a little while, to save up money. The economy sucks and probably won't be magically fixed in 2 years when I graduate, so I'm going to be smart about this.

I was living out of the parents house from when I was 22-25. I then had to move back "home" for 3 months before I closed on my house, which I have been in for a little over a month now.

After my uncle got divorced, he moved back in with his parents and lived there until he died at the age of 50. Probably lived with them for 10-15 years after the divorce.

24 right now. Kind of live at home but I'll be traveling all over the place for 6 week intervals. Moving out at the end of graduation to wherever residency takes me

My second cousin moved out of his parent's house for the first time at the age of 52, when he got married to a 33 year old. They had their first child when he was 55. They recently had their second child, and he is 58.

I moved back home for about a year after college. My family was thrilled to have me back, Italian families are like that. If they had it their way, I wouldn't have moved out until I got married.

I did move out for good when I was 24, though. Moved down to DC for law school and work, so there wasn't much of a choice. Probably one of the better moves I made, considering what happened to the economy last year. Philly isn't a great place to be looking for work right now, outside of a couple of sectors in which I have no experience whatsoever.

I moved out at 24, when I could finally afford to buy a townhouse. Paid my mom 1/2 of the rent and took care of 1/2 of the groceries and 100% of the ISP. (my mom made low income and could use some help at the time and I wanted to save for a townhouse anyhow, so it worked out well.)

yeah he is married. but the good part is his house is big enough for everyone (his mother has a "apartment" in teh basement).

though his wife knew he was kinda a mama's boy before they got married so she really can't complaine

I've complained, but olds insists he has a zoning exception.
