I have a computer from Dell an am curious about the manufacturer of my mobo and display. As far as I now Dell don't make their own mobos and displays, do they?

I ran Aida32, which pretty much revealed most of my system components. However the mobo's name was Dell Dimension 8300 and the display's name M992.

Hope you have any suggestions about how to solve my problem.

try cpu-z www.cpuid.com they have a mainboard tab maybe it can tell you.

also if it has an award bios during the post write down the string of characters that start in the bottom left of the screen then type that into google and you should be able to find it out . I know that the end f that string tells you what mobo you have but i'm not familiar enough to tell you exactly which ones they are

Best place on the web to identify old/outdated/unusual/hard-to-find/etc motherboards is the Motherboards.org forum, specifically the Motherboard Identification Forum ... there are LOTS of people there that if you can post them a picture or some description of what it is will be able to tell you exactly what motherboard you've got, where to find drivers, etc. They're a really friendly and helpful lot, provided that you're not a jerk or rude.

As for display, according to the Underwriter's Laboratories database, your monitor is manufactured by Samsung for Dell, which is confirmed by an FCC declaration of conformity at Dell's website (bottom of the page). I can't find any information about this particular monitor from Samsung's website, though there's a nice little descriptive blurb over at Firingsquad that has a bit of information about it.
