i just want to know the details of the card before i buy it, thanks.

I think that's either PowerColor or an actual "ATI" branded card. Sapphire does use red PCBs (at least on almost all of their products).

Looks to me like a Sapphire ATI X800-Pro

ATI

The key is the double script "S" to the upper left of the fan. That is not visible in the E-Bay clip.

Looking into the wolfteeth graphic, looks like it is ATi. Make sure it's not the Mac edition though.

i thought it was sapphire also due to the blue pcb but the sapphire card has an alien on the cooler and the one in the photo seems to look like a shark.

theres also another difference, the sapphire card says RADEON X800 while the mystery photo says ATI RADEON X800.

sorry if it seems like im making a big deal of it, just want to do research on the card before i buy. i emailed the guy to see if he can give me any part numbers from the card itself, but no response just yet.

EDIT: Different graphic though. Looks like the sapphire x800 series has an alien head, that one has some wolf jaws or something.

It's definitely not that one. You can see that the "Sapphire" logo isn't there in the Craigslist pic, and the Craiglist one has an "ATI" logo next to where it says "RADEON X800" on the HSF assembly. Unless Sapphire used different HSFs on the cards.

It's the same HSF as the one in this review:

That one's red (and from ATI), but it's a reference card. I don't know if the retail cards used red or blue PCBs.

I always thought that X800 character was a minotaur. Perhaps it's a Sapphire card but for some reason he put an ATI heatsink on it. Say the fan died on his Sapphire but he had another x800/friend had one/whatever that died but still had a good heatsink? The only way to find out for sure is to ask the guy.

there you go... its a minotaur! not a shark or wolf (wolf is close enough).

the only info i have from the guy so far is that he says its an ATI card and he gave me the following number "PN7120009600"... does this help any?

i could believe the ATI card part but i find no reference to ATI building cards on a blue pcb.
