Warning spoilers if you have not seen Seasons 2/3.

In a debate I had with one of my friends about BSG, we were trying to figure out who the final cylon is. Here is what we came to the conclusion of (this is also IMO, so no I don't know for sure on the final cylon):

Lets get the obvious choice out of the way first. Jesus: He makes sense as the cylons believe in a "God", so the son of "God" is a cylon as well. When D'Anna said "You! Forgive me, I had no idea" Jesus would make sense here because he would be the son of "God" (which since the cylons are monotheistic would make him the son of their "God"). Jesus for the final cylon '08.

Kara "Starbuck" Thrace: The most obvious choice. It is possible, as how else did she live through her ship exploding through the episode "Maelstrom"? It is so predictable though. I could see it as possible, but I seriously hope not because of how predictable it would be. Also it has been made very apparent she has a "destiny" and through the series she has been intertwined with the cylons. She would make a very obvious choice as the final cylon. On top of this if she was a cylon, that would mean she was married to another cylon (Sam) which would seem unlikely (then again Boomer and the Chief were a couple and are both cylons).

Gaius Baltar: Would be another strong candidate. The issue I have with him being a cylon though is he wishes he was a cylon so he wouldn't have been a true traitor to the humans. It would make sense in the fact that he sees cylon 6, and Caprica 6 sees him. This could be a reason for or against him being a cylon. He has also helped the cylons numerous times (from the nuclear weapon that he gave to the 6, to during the occupation on New Caprica, to helping them on their journey to Earth). He has helped the cylons more then the humans for the most part without even knowing he is.

William "Husker" Adama: Unlikely as Saul is already a cylon, and having the two highest ranking military officers cylons doesn't make much logical sense to have both of them cylons.

Laura Roslin: She has had many instances of a "destiny", and had the vision with cylon models 8 and 6 along with Hera. This could be due to the blood of Hera however that granted her the vision with the 2 cylons. Since her aide is already a cylon this falls into the same category as William Adama.

Tom Zarek: Possibility as he is a supporting character and has had ties to a lot of important events in the fleet. He is currently vice president and would be the same level as Laura's aide. Torry (her aide) is a cylon and already in a position to hurt the fleet politically, so I don't think that he would be the final cylon. OTOH 2 of the final 5 are part of the fleet (Saul, and Tyrol), one is in training for the fleet (Anders), and one is the presidential aide (Torry) so a second in the political side would make sense from that aspect.

Romo Lampkin (Baltar's lawyer): I think this is a very strong possibility. He is very cunning (as Brother Cavil, D'Anna, and Leoben have been) and has a mystique about him that has been shown other cylons possess. Lampkin played a very close role to Baltar, as cylon models 3 and 6 both were.

Lee "Apollo" Adama: It could make for an interesting twist, but also unlikely as he hasn't played any "critical" role as far as the "all of this has happened before and will happen again" mindset. He has just acted in the here and now.
